Thanks to our strong educational curriculum, outstanding staff, and commitment to education, Lasseter Academy has provided individualized instruction to students in the Columbus, Ga and East Alabama region for over twenty years. We offer college-prep Middle and High School in a small class setting along with specialized tutoring programs for students from pre-K through college level in any subject.
We strive to provide each individual student with an environment that encourages self-discovery and a commitment to learning. Students are encouraged to learn how to solve problems, release their creativity and build social skills. All in all, our curriculum lays the foundation for a lifetime of learning.
We adhere to the highest standards of educational and student development. What's more, our dedicated staff has the experience and know-how to put these principles to work for each and every student. Lasseter Academy carefully screens and interviews all teachers to ensure that they meet our high educational standards.
Ultimately, we have but one goal: to strengthen and rekindle your student's love of learning.
The initial mission of Lasseter Academy was to fill missing academic holes in the community. Our purpose was to rekindle the love of learning in every student. Neither the mission nor purpose has changed since 1993, as both needs still exist in today's current generation of students of all ages.
Although Lasseter Academy was begun in 1993 as Education and Guidance Services, a tutorial center for SAT and ACT Prep, the services grew rapidly. Within several months students came after school for academic tutorial support.
By the end of 1995 academic classes were offered for Elementary, Middle, and High school students, as well as all aspects of test prep and reading comprehension.
We have been an accredited school for almost 17 years, are now called Lasseter Academy, and are part of the SACS/CASI/AdvancED accredited family of schools located all over the world. Our school standards follow the state guidelines of Georgia and Alabama, meeting the needs of the students whom we serve.
